I first learnt Bobbin Lace at the Abbey in March 1980 at Miss Dawson's course. I started teaching there in June 2000, eventually teaching 42 courses there over the years. I have made many lace friends and enjoyed watching them grow in confidence in their lace making skills. It was with regret that I finally decided that the travel on a Friday and the return on Sunday after teaching all weekend, was becoming too much. I am pleased to say that Lace making courses are continuing there.
