LetExist - is an anagram of 'textiles'.
Jan made up this word to describe her exploration of combining Bobbin Lace with creative Textile techniques. She has however changed it to
CONTEMPORARY LACE TEXTILES
which makes it easier to be understood & more interesting to textile addicts!
Jan has been exploring this technique for some years and has taught many courses.
Jan is giving a talk on Contemporary Lace Textiles at Poole Circle Lace Day on June 6th 2026.
